This document highlights the threats of a operating system issue with a override characters. this simply swap the Characters. The right-to-left mark (RLM) is a non-printing character used in the computerized typesetting of bi-directional text containing mixed left-to-right scripts. This allows an attacker to perform the following operating from the victim

  • Trick the user into opening a file that they wouldn’t otherwise

  • Send a malicious file which look like a PDF or Office document when in reality it is a piece of malware.
